Your Get What You Pay For

I am always amazed at how easily we get sucked into to what we think is a good deal for heating and cooling service, repairs, or replacement. I will admit that many times in my life, @comfortguyjerry has been wooed by seemingly good deals. There is an old adage that says, "If the deal seems to good to be true, it probably is." Why don't we believe this? It has proved itself over and over to be true. Even now you can find all kinds of Internet coupons, steals and deals, g-coupons and the like. What you may not know is that whatever you pay for that coupon, the coupon company takes up to 50% of that price. So, if for say you buy a 'tune up' coupon for your furnace or air conditioner, for lets say $39.00, the furnace company gets $19.50 of that price. Now think about it. You are expecting a trained, qualified technician to drive to your home, get out his tools and spend an hour or more to tune up your equipment, replace filters, clean the dust out of your furnace or A/C and thank you and be on his way. Really?? Oh by the way, the company he works for has to make a profit also. So.....What happens? Often the technician is going to 'find' something wrong that needs 'imediate' attention, or some other type of issue that going to cost you more. I'm not saying that all heating and cooling companies are like that, but we just need to think about what we are getting for our hard earned money. Yes, I work for a heating and cooling company and I would like to think that we are better. We have spent twenty five plus years building a business based on integrity and trust and I sincerely believe that is why we have customers that have been with us for years, and their children who are now adults are calling us for their heating and cooling needs. Learn more at greensheating.com
